Phyllis Johnson is an Elite Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with over 20 years Accounting/QuickBooks experience.
Her accounting experience includes managing all facets of month end/quarter end closes i.e. journal entries, billing, contract reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, revenue recognition, taxes, amortization and depreciation schedules, compiled and analyzed balance sheet reconciliations and income statements. She has experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, working with external auditors, payroll, and process improvement procedures.
She graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting/Finance and also has a MBA from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a focus in Entrepreneurship Management.
Phyllis has served in various positions at small businesses including Assistant Controller & Human Resources Manager and Director of Finance & Operations. She has experience working in multiple industries including telecommunications, gaming, restaurant, real estate, insurance, and more. She decided to utilize the skills that she gained from working at small businesses along with the knowledge obtained from her schooling to start her own company to help other entrepreneurs and small business owners.
